Flashback!

I completed the drawings below a while back when I was doing my undergrad. I have not done charcoal since. I also did portraits a lot when I was doing charcoal. I just thought the combination worked really well. By some strange coincidence, all of the subjects are smoking some form of tobacco and without even realizing I decided to post them all together today. Well hope you enjoy them.

This is a picture of a street kid in Nepal. It's a tough life for them and they mature much more quickly then they should.

This is a scene down Route 47 in Hadley/Amherst, MA. A more of a pretty painting but a nice view nonetheless.

This painting is of the same dam in Ithaca as the first painting. Except for this one I had hiked down the hills so the view is from the bottom of the waterfall.
